What an excellent surprise, thanks very much to Beanscene and Phil Di Bella.

I, too, had already purchased and read Phils' book several times.

So, if there are any members from Wait Awhile who haven't been able to access this inspiring book, just PM me with your name and address and I'll be only too happy to post you my Beanscene gift copy. (postage free)

Hopefully the recipient will find it as educational and inspiring as I do.

YIPPEE Smiley

Santa has arrived early, thanks to Santa Steve and crew, my Dec Beanscene was in the mail today, hoping they make it to the rest of you soon.

Not wanting to spoil it for everyone, but it is an absoulutely brilliant production, and just keeps getting better each issue.

I haven't got mine yet so i'm rather envious.  Cry

In the past i've just picked it up at the newsagents but i finally got around to subscribing (the $5 to FairCrack is a great initiative btw) recently and i'm pretty sure i got in with enough time to get this issue.

Fingers crossed it arrives in the next few days because i've almost worn the ink off the pages of the last issue.  Grin

Drop them an email to make sure.  I got a nice email back when I enquired (I subscribed a few weeks ago) and they said if it hadn't arrived by Wednesday to email him back and they would sort it.

Not much details about the Wega competition on the site... doesn't say when it's draw or anything.  Still a great price for 6 issues and the faircrack donation was a bonus.  I loved the Christmas issue.

I didn't take much notice to be honest, but it'd be a cracking prize to win, wouldn't it? Especially for someone like me who is still toiling away with a terrible machine.

One can dream.  Smiley

It's an awesome deal and as i said earlier, the Faircrack payment is a great initiative.
I've been planning to subscribe (regardless of price) for a while, just been slack and hadn't gotten around to it until recently.

Thanks Pip!

I got my copy yesterday, and as usual I talk too much and give out too many secrets about things that people don't need or want to know but hey... thats just me... if you ask me I'll tell ya.
Roll Eyes

My kids were really excited at seeing themselves and Daddy in print and they took it to school today for show and tell (which was cute).

Steve Agi did a great job on the article and apart from me cringing at photos of me I think it was a pretty fair summary of me and my  CoffeeSnob journey to date.

Thanks to everyone for your support over the years, its been a fun ride and we have plenty more fun and plenty of great coffee to come.

Nothing at my end, but then I still haven't got my December issue for some reason!  I sent an email about it a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard back from them yet, so I'm sort of hoping both magazines will turn up together.

Thanks Lacey - I've just located the copy of the email I sent at the beginning of February and sent it through again, so hopefully this should garner a reply.

A follow up - I heard back from Brad at BeanScene (I went to put BS, but it just didn't look right!) last night and he's getting on to it and sorting it out for me.

As I said to him in my email - it's a testament to how great the magazine is that I so severely miss the magazine when it doesn't turn up!

Cheers

melbuurn, it's a bi monthly.

rival81, from memory when I subscribed on the beanscene website it had an autorenew clause at the bottom.  ie automatic unless you tell us otherwise.  Might not be the case if you subscribed using a cheque or a magazine subscription company.

I sent an email asking about the auto renew after seeing the "renew now" flyer in the Dec issue.

They decided not to go with that option, so unless you've re-subscribed you may be waiting in vain Sad

Looks like you are getting the rock star treatment as a previous Snob page celebrity contributor now.
Cool

It would be unusual for anyone there to ignore an email, they have always been really responsive to queries and bend over backwards to keep happy customers.

If anyone has a query about their subscription please just contact the Bean Scene office and they will sort it out I'm sure.

^Yup, definitely, Andy - I sent an email through about six months ago to change my address when we moved and heard back within a few minutes, which is why I thought this was a bit surprising.

Even Brad was a bit shocked it hadn't been sorted - I probably sent it through about the time they were getting the February issue together and it just got put to one side and I can understand that: have even done it myself at work once or twice (or three or a hundred times!)

Cool
