Nice rosetta Jesh, cant get much better. Keep it up.
Guys help me out it is not an easy question to ask on the face.
Gday Jesh...... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Can you keep image size to a maximum of 640x480 pixels (W x H) please mate? Anything larger can be difficult to view easily in most browsers and older monitors..... :(
If you are unsure about how to easily resize your images, this link will hopefully assist :).
Nice job, by the way 8-)
Nice rosetta Jesh, cant get much better. Keep it up.
Thats veeeery nice!
You are better than me gun-ga-din
Thats really good
A little too heavy on the draw through. Try pulling through with the smallest stream of milk possible. There is a fine line though, too little milk and itll only pour out in drops and not fully draw through, too much and youll get a skewed draw through like you have. Good definition between the leaves. Try get more crema inside the leaves....rosettas like that are the best imo. The top of the leaf is not so defined. If you slow down at the top, you can create a heart tipped rosetta. Give it a go...all the best!
I rate it 9.5/10
Jesh, do you find they are easier to do in a cup or latte glass.
where do you first aim your milk for the glass?
Looks great. I really like it.
phatboy: I find a glass easier than a cup, and i tend to start my rosetta about 10mm from the back edge of the milk (still in the tilt) But i am not that great of a rosetta pourer, nor do i have a pic yet, will get one tomorrow at work and post it in my first latte art.
But as for your rosetta Jesh, i really like your marbling of the milk and crema, and that looks like a really nice red crema, I bet it tasted good too. I like the wings of your rosetta as well, very defined curves in there and good marbling too, I wont give tips cause I cant really pour well enough myself (yours is way better than mine) but what wushoes said is what my trainers in the past have said, very good advice, but yeah man, keep it up, thats a really tastey looking coffee, and i hope it tasted good too :-)
i have attempted this numerous times and failed miserably each time. my froth seems to be too coarse. any suggestions?Originally Posted by Jesh link=1210561912/0#0 date=1210561876
What machine are you using?
What size jug?
How much milk do you put in the jug?
Describe how you do it.
Just wondering if I can improve on this rosetta?
It looks a little lopsided. ;)
Thats cos the picture was taken on an angle
Any opinions on this rosetta I did at work the other day??
I was just kidding Joyce.Originally Posted by crunksta22 link=1210561912/0#12 date=1230890587
Yeah OK crunksta. Thats pretty damn impressive - but you knew that, right?
In fact, its as nearly as good as the rosetta I wish I could do
Mine turn out more like ferns
Like the middle bit in yours
any suggestions on how to improve this one I did at home???
well for me my mentality is even if its good there is always room for improvement. I want "Perfection"Originally Posted by flynn_aus link=1210561912/0#15 date=1230896761
Show Offs!!! ::) ::) ::)
Just kidding, ;D ;D ;D Well done Crunksta. very very impressive!
Wow .. some seriously impressive rosetta flowers!
Thanks Bne. It took a lot of practice to get to that level. Not to mention many litres of milk wasted. ::)Originally Posted by 4E42492C0 link=1210561912/21#21 date=1233041572

n heres my latte art,,
i meant 2 pour it as a rosetta but it came out more like cartooned rosetta,, I had a laugh,,
so, tell me what do you think about it,,
so i can give it an improvement,,
yep its not,, but thats a good one ay,,Originally Posted by 2A3B3C27223A3D287B7B490 link=1210561912/28#28 date=1236244366
You could try pulling the stem on your rosetta thinner. As in only have a small stream of milk flowing on the pull back while holding the jug a little higher.
Keep pouring :)
I am new on that side and very passionate about coffee. I worked in different bars and coffee shops the last 10 years, but i learnt most about coffee the last 2 years since im in Australia. My home country is Germany and i dont think they are really good in the coffee trade. I would say the stuck in the 80ies. I went a couple of months ago to the Barista academy in Perth were Jeremy showed me the real deal. Since then my latte art is improving and im in the need of passionate coffee people who tell me what i could do better. In a few days im off to NZ and hoping to learn a lot there. Here are a few pics, tell me what you thing, im much appreciated that...
one more... :) i know there are a few bubbles...
I think it is excellent! Unfortunately for me I work on the technical side of providing coffee, I would so love to be able to produce Latte Art as you can! :-X
I have been doing these ones at work recently..not sure what ya could call it but when im in the right frame of mind i try doing different pours for different drinks and just stick with those designs for the day. Unfortunately im the only one doing it for now...
Anyway...what do you think? its a bit like crunkstas now that i look at it?
Improvements i have one... dont use Piazza doro would be a start.
Aaahhhhh Piazza Doro... Sooo 2001 :)
Here is my effort from last night, what do you think?
