My latte art sucks but I could do that, and i even have ones growing mould when i forget to empty the knock box.
Perhaps we need to see how high we can build a tower or a leaning tower of piza.

This has got to be worthy of a competition...Ill throw in 500gm of Cafetto Espresso Clean if it takes off.

I can see it now...the leaning tower of pucks, shufflepuck, puckerup, peking puck, pucka puck, and of course the hockey puck.

Hehe, this thread reminded me of a story one of my husbands Year 11 students recounted to him.

Apparently the kid got a job as a muffin-seller/barista dude, and on his first day was offered a coffee biscuit by one of the other young staff members - he got a nasty shock when he bit into it - as the punk had sandwiched together two pucks with some whipped cream. :o Yech!

If I forget to clean my pucks out, they go all Yellow and Orange ???

Ummm must remember to take a pic as it is quite amazing at times... Further more, even when in the compost bin, they take a while to break up and disperse...

I guess I should drop some into the Forensics lab and ask one of my co workers for a quick review and see just what little bugs I am growing.. Could be a market for them..

Actually, when I got up this morning, my daughter was tossing some old make-up ( grows mould etc and can cause skin problems). I mentioned coffee puks doing the same...

A few minutes later, a scrabble in the bathroom and the kitchen compost waste bin and true ART was ready to be captured for reflection....

My daughter tells me that I should have titled it Contemporary Puk Art...

Further more, she has just explained any number of other setups she has in mind.... However her mother does not want the mess.

If I know my daughter... stay tuned for further pics.

Need a better res shot... With the furriness at the edges, it could almost be a wad from a leather punch ;) Then again, if you were making a belt to carry ya knock box... I guess it could still count ;D

I will have to start to be a bit creative...

After looking at all the great art some members have produced, I thought the more creative nature in some, would have been exposed in this post. I mean the raw product just begs to be abused....

giggled like a schoolgirl... * Upgraditis is here again....

I tripped at work and spilt a full knock box across the floor... *Oops no one was impressed and I am sure the cleaners will have fit tonight... *Should have grabbed a pic... *but was too busy gathering my pride.. *However due to the mess, I have no intention of recreating at work...

Ummmm *Wife is away on teh weekend 4 a few hrs... *Maybe a staged spill across teh kitchen floor ? * I could then mop up afterwards and she would think I was being a great house husband... *Stay tuned for further posts.

not quite puck art - but a case of the missing puck.

Made coffee this morning. Came back 5 mins later to clean up and turn the machine off. Removed the portafilter and.... No puck.

I thought that is a bit weird, I am sure I did not empty this and looked at the group head. The puck dropped off into the drip tray.

    Odd!

Agree, the crema in this shot could have been better....

The espresso had been sitting there a few mins before I got the shot right. Maybe I should line everthing up first and try the shot again.
