BeanBay Green Bean Release August / September 2017

BeanBay Green Bean Release August / September 2017

    Available in BeanBay now:

    Guatemala Jacaltenango SHB

Guatemala Jacaltenango SHB (strictly hard bean). Jacaltenango is in the northern end of Guatemala, near the Mexican border and even as a green bean this is full of fruit and sweet aromas. The same ripe coffee fruit sweetness appears in the espresso shot along with some green apple acidity that lifts the aromas. Stunning as a long black but also works well in all espresso based drinks.

    Mexico Quinta Genova

Mexico Quinta Genova is a high grown, dense bean and easy to roast well.

In the cup at CS9 it's crisp clean finish reminds you of a Kenyan but take this one a bit darker and the cocoa flavours leap out. Stunner for the traditional espresso roasts and worked really well as a single origin blend of light and dark together.

More beans will be added to this thread if/when they arrive.

    ...the required fine print...
(with the exception of the 1kg Geisha's and the 2kg Monsoons) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options and actual freight costs to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight per kilogram so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays. Monday to Thursday we will ship everything same day that we receive payment for but please remember bank lag means it will take at least a day for your payment to get to us even though your bank took it from you instantly. If you want it faster, don't procrastinate and please order earlier!

    Enjoy!

Andy, you spoil us!!! Both the beans above are stunners. The Mexico really had that beautiful chocolate flavour, while the Guatemala has a lovely fruitiness. Love them both!
