Coming towards the end of a pre-roast blend I thought I should share. At around 7 days post-roast this has developed into an amazing espresso that also cuts very nicely through milk-based drinks:
2/3 Brazilian Reserve, 1/3 Rwandan Nyungwe. Short and simple. Roasted CS9.
The Rwandan adds some complexity to the smooth but maybe some what blandish Brazilian. The body is amazing; one pull of the lever produced a shot made entirely of crème.
Resting at the moment is a evolution of this blend combining Sumatran and Indian:
Brazilian Reserve 55%
Indian Elephant Hills 10%
Might tweak this further by using the Indian as the base and removing the Brazilian....
