    Steam Wand Upgrade Kit

    Hi All,

Anyone know if the upgrade kit (Rancilio Silvia V2 wand) for Gaggia would also fit Gaggia Cubika? I know it fits Gaggia Classic just was wondering if I could upgrade the Cubika wand. It looks same size as the classic. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Also I found the Rancilio Silvia v2 wand on ebay for $45.00. I noticed some paid around $20 after searching the forum so Im not sure if im buying the right one or paying too much?

    Cheers

Site sponsors Coffee parts have them,

You purchase the V2 wand and the adaptor.

+1 for Coffee Parts | Spare Parts and Accessories for Espresso Coffee Machines and Grinders

They have already been mentioned above, and they are not much under $50, but I don't think you will find anyone that is.

However Coffee Parts are sponsors, their service is brilliant, their postage is low, and they are great people to do business with.
They will sell you the right wand and the correct adapter for fitting it to a Classic.
If you mention that you are a member here at CS, you may get a small discount, or a small sample of their roasted beans.
A purchase of less than $50 will not yield much profit so that's a maybe.

P.S. look under Domestic Parts, Gaggia Classic.

so if the coffee parts one is a straight plug and play, and you dont want to do that mod, then should be worth the extra premium

Hi Steve82, How much do you file off and do you use the little ‘o’ rings on the Silvia steam wand?
