    Hi Australia,
I want to install my Cimbali M27 Start (2G) and I wonder if any of you could help me with the manual of this machine! I use to work with it in my restaurant but now Im going to use it at home! Installation is not difficult but it would be fine to have the manual.
Ill appreciate some help on this issue.
    Thanks,

    Its a superauto yes?

If you cant find it on Cimbalis website....you might want to try Coffex who are the distributors in Australia.

    Hi Schaerer,
Thanks for your fast answer! Well I think my cimbali M27 start is just an semi-automatic and different from the selectron.
Maybe the manual is the same. Anyway I understood that JavaB has one, so Ill wait for it.

    Valimar,

The users manual for the M27 start should be in your mail box now.

Hope it provides the info you need (its the full owners manual by the way)

    Re: La Cimbali M27 manual

Greetings. This thread prompted me to create a login. I too would love to have one of those manuals emailed to me. Ive had my machine for nearly a year and have yet to fire it up. It came with an entire cart that I purchased and I have only just replaced all of the lines in it and had the M27 serviced. I guess a manual would be a good thing to have since Ive never operated anything besides my little Krups coffee maker with side espresso machine.

Ive sent you an email, javaphile.

Hi everybody, I too was inspired to join you by this thread. *Ive just got my hands on an m20 2 group similar to the attached pic. It is in need of some serious tlc (that should probably read "rebuild"). Does anyone have a manual to share? Thanks

    Hello,

I also need manuals. this time for an M32 La Cimbali...

just hoping someone can help, but expect any model in this range would be suitable. I have a customer with a leaking solenoid. I replaced it but the new one is leaking after three weeks, so guessing it must be something else causing it!

    Hi,

I just bought a used M27 Start on ebay. I want to switch it to 230V until the electrician will come and connect the 380V outlet. Would you mind to send me the manual because the previous owner has lost it.

I try to send an PM with my email.

    Kind regards,

    R.

    Manual has been sent.

If you have any queries, be sure to post them. Details of voltage conversion are under the lid of the electronics "box" by the way.

    Hi Harry,

I can send you the M27 manual, but adding a PID to a La Cimbali (or any traditional HX machine) wont really achieve anything.

The pressurestat holds the boiler temperature to better than 2 degrees..... and during extraction this will not affect the extraction temperature (will vary by only a fraction of a degree).

Your cooling flush technique will affect the temperature of the extraction however - by over 10 degrees..... so PID or no PID..... you will still have to do the cooling flush routine - and get it right.

The only way a PID will help with one of these machines (which is really a single boiler) is to set the PID for brew and steam settings.... much like a Silvia - and even then it will not be as effective as a PID is on a Silvia.....

Those commercial machines with PID controls have two or more boilers.... one (or more) are ONLY used for the brew water.... and that works great..... a traditional HX is "dynamically stable" and a PID wont help you - but will look good!

    Hi,

Hmm, maybe is PIDing a Cimbali M27 not a good solution for a broken Pressostat.

In Ebay I see a relative cheap (new) Pressostat for espresso machines for sale. Approximately 20 dollar, any experience with this one?

    Re: La Cimbali M27 manual

    Harry,

Yep, a replacement pressurestat is the way to go in my opinion...

But get a Sirai pressurestat (the type La Cimbali and most other commercial machines use....) They are very well made, have heavy duty contacts and will last forever..... but a bit expensive however.

If you get a different brand you will probably have to adapt the fittings where the Sirai will bolts straight on.

    Hi JavaB,
Can you send me the manual also?
I recently tripped the power where i work,
and the machine there got reset. I need to find out how to
reprogram the shot settings. My bosss machine is a
Pasquini M27 Selectron, but ive read at several places that its the same as
    Cimbali, right? Anyway,
    Thank you! =)

    Re: La Cimbali M27 manual

    Hi OMG,

PM me your email address and Ill send it to you.....

But it doesnt have the instructions for volumes!

To do that hold the stop button on the group for about 10 seconds (you will hear a "beep").... you are then in program mode. (water will exit the group until it goes into program by the way).

You then start and stop the flow with the button you want to set the volume for, do that for each button and when all buttons have been programmed you press the stop button again to save your settings.

In theory you can program both groups after entering program mode - but I do it one at a time.

    Hope that helps.

    Update:
    Hi JavaB,
I tried what you advised and it worked!
At first i was a little confused on the second step but
i tinkered and realized what you meant:
Hold the shot button until it dripped the desired amount and then release the button.
Thanks a million, im so happy! ...cuz my boss is happy now too, haha.

    Hi

Very pleased to find this site!

Is it possible to get a manual for the La Cimbali M30 please.
Tried looking when I got the machine 4 years ago but all links I found were dead. *Awesome to find current discussion with people able to help.

Also - have just had to descale to pressurestat after a period of no use. *(new ones at US$280 i think so happy to try all avenues first) *Came up clean *- but just want to know if I need to bleed the air when I reinstall? *Any advice welcome.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi:
I just purchased a used Pasquini M27 Selectron that looks exactly like Snoops above (posted 1/2/2008). I bought it from the new owner of a restaurant who wasnt sure if it works or not. (Which means it probably doesnt!)

Does somebody have a manual or user guide for this?

Ive been in touch with the Pasquini company in Los Angeles, and hope to take it there for repairs, but it would be good to read up on the thing first.
    Thanks in advance!

    La Cimbali M29 Select manual

Hi, the restaurant i work for recently got an m29select (after misuse &improper cleaning and service killed our last machine) but yet again, weve been given no instruction on use and or cleaning!

Can anyone help? For what its worth, one of the steam arms is the fancy type that steams and froths automatically.
