    EM7000 dosing advice

Just upgraded from a 6910 and wondering whether the dosing level is the same. I don't weigh the dose, just go by level. On the 6910 they said to aim for 3mm below the rim and there was that 5c coin test you could do. Is it the same for the 7000? All they tell you is dose and tamp three times.

Do the 5 cent test. That way no matter what you hear or what a screen/piece of paper says you will have an empirical measurement to tell you what's right for your machine and process.

They are pretty similar, but not quite the same. Do the 5c test to confirm, always best to have a reference.

I wonder if your 5c are the same as ours!

I have taken to some weighing to see how consistent/inconsistent I am.
It is enough to say, still got some learning to do!
