This is a update to my work station :)

Heres a couple of snaps of my little corner of the kitchen.
We have a big white corian island but Im not allowed to have that space. ;D
The silver roller door to the left rolls up and has shelves where I keep my backflush powder, filter baskets, jugs, thermometers etc. My knock box usually lives in there too with the kettle and toaster :)
Might as well add my new (to me) home set-up.
La Pavoni Pub 2 Lever
Pe-De wallmounted hand-grinder (not in pic)
Reg Barber Tamper
Other miscellaneous bits n pieces
Still in honeymoon phase with the PeDe and not sure if it will become a permanent resident. Considering a Eureka or Mazzer instead.
Considering I previously had a dinky little Breville machine, the learning curve on the La Pavoni is steep but fun.
Thanks to Chris @ Talk Coffee and his evil temptations, there is a new addition to the Lovey household.
A La Spaziale mini Vivaldi II, to go with the Macap M4, Coffeelab tamper, Bumper tamp stand and Sunbeam bang bang 8-).
Ah that machine!! Looks so professional! I like it.Originally Posted by 46657C6F730A0 link=1212406574/106#106 date=1281057858
I am relieved to see that it arrived (after disappearing for a few days in transit ::))
Looks da bomb!
New to the bench and now up and running! * 8-)
Our Nouva Izzo Pompeii Lever (with PID)- 60kg of it...Shown here beside an Alex Duetto and a Robur to give an idea of relative proportions...She aint small.... :o
What a monster! Careful you dont get beaned on the upwards stroke! :o
This is my current setup.
08 Silvia, Sunbeam EM0450, Home made knockbox & tamper.
I have only had the Silvia for 1 month and I love it.
Plans for new grinder soon.
That thing is a monster Chris, it and the Robur makes the Duetto look small :P
As of last weekend when I picked up my new machine my setup is as follows:
Izzo Alex Duetto II
Compak K10 WBC
Bogav Assassin / Pullman Barista Convex (both 58.3mm)
Sunbeam Knock Box
The grinder and machine are on different benches at the moment due to lack of space, so its not as nice a setup as most of the pics up here :P

Definately going to get my hands on one of those bad boys. Sorry to be getting off topic.
By the way - your setup is really nice and modern looking. Love the green knock box and matching shot glasses (if you can call them glasses).
Great setup Petar, its always exciting when us boys get new toys *:DOriginally Posted by 6C79687D6E1C0 link=1212406574/113#113 date=1281253768

Im an Italian expat living in Xiamen China.
Here is my setup;

All I need now, are the skills.
Very bad phone camera shot of my 2 newest toys 8-)
Compak K10 & timer teamed with a La San Marco 1 Group Lever (5 th lever machine ::) )

VBM Domobar Junior
Anfim Best in chrome
Bogav Classic Tamper
+ Nuova Simonelli Grinta hiding in the background for decaf
I built a shelf just above our upright freezer which stands just under 4 feet from the ground. *I find it a very ergonomic height for me (Im 6ft). *Keeps everything well protected from cooking areas.
HOME - Olympia Cremina, KyM hand mill, KA Pro Line espresso machine and KA Pro Line grinder with Mazzer Mini burrs...
COMMERCIAL - 2 group NS Aurelia, BUNN VPR drip system, NS MDX and Grinta, BUNN LPG, BlendTec commercial blenders, Hoshizaki icemaker
Havent updated in here for a while.
Now have Behmor, Lelit PL041EM, Mazzer Super Jolly.
Got myself a new rig a couple of months back. My little Breville Ikon packed it in and was looking down a similar path from the stories that I have read from the forums.
To Heat Exchanger or not to Heat Exchanger, that is the question.
With some guidance from Mal (Dad), Andy and Chris from the Coffee Centre I found myself an excellent machine. A six year old Bezzera BZ02, and was the best decision I made. My comparison was the Silvia and for about the same amount of money spent the BZ02 blew my mind.
At the time Chris was kind enough to exchange the BZ02 for a Silvia if I was not completely happy and now I understand the power of a well made HX machine.
One very happy Customer/CSer and thanks to Mal and Andy for the advice. A massive cheers to Chris for the service and continued support for my new machine, thanks.
Youll have to refit the SMs large hopper now to balance the picture... :P ;D
Great stuff Ken 8-)
Thanks to Chris :)
taken with handphone camera, cant wait for the slr :(

PS why dont you leave you PF in the group head, I note you have Miss silva on a timer so I assume you want it to heat up?
PMd u doc :)
Incrementally increasing my equipment by stealth. BCG800 came into the house a couple of weeks ago, today a small milk frothing jug has found its way on to the counter. The ultimate goal is a single-head espresso machine but "softly, softly".
I like the incremental approach... I can relate to it.Originally Posted by 426D6476704D6C71776B606C7766030 link=1212406574/141#141 date=1316414766
This is my weekend setup when no one is at home:
Slowly trying to take away the black grinder away from the picture and replacing it with that larger silver one ;D
And this is my roasting station. Nothing special:
Heres my little peace of serenity.
Added the Pullman Barista Burgundy Red Tamper today!
The kettle, blue cups and jug belongs to the tea drinker...had to share the realestate ::)
Lovely setup! Could I ask where you picked up that stand that is holding all your cups?Originally Posted by 56444A5C40250 link=1212406574/143#143 date=1319709093
Thanks timmyc.* Yeh theyre great space savers.* Ive got two of these at home.*Originally Posted by 302D29293D27440 link=1212406574/144#144 date=1320109026
Ill send u to a link where I mentioned where I got them...plus I posted a newer pic with my latte glasses on top in that thread ;D
The coffee haven of our sharehouse. The Perfetta, 480 and home made knock-box are mine. The saeco capsule belongs to another couple in the house. And the sunbeam 3600 (was mine until two days ago) has now been passed on to our other housemate.
Next on the upgrade list is a new grinder (probably a Compak), Pullman tamper and Synesso (probably) basket set, and finally a bottomless portafilter. Not necessarily in that order.
Edit: Woops, I forgot the photo
Showing off both my machines! The Lelit is home for a descale and couldnt resist taking a photo of the two together ;D
Time for some non-electric gear:
- Presso w/naked portafilter
- Bellman CX-25P (on steam duty)
- Porlex hand grinder
- Di Bartoli 50mm flat-base tamp
(yes, I have to live with the knife block in the middle of my "cafe"....>:()
