Hi hellgq, great setup and especially like the pesado handle & tamp. Out of curiosity with the Aldi milk frother jug do you add the frothed milk to the pourover coffee?Sounds interesting for hols. PS how did you post a picture as a first time poster?
    Cheers, dave

Thanks pikey. Yeh we drink alot of milk based coffee so the milk frother actually heats the milk aswell so its an easy way of getting good coffee away camping. We plug it into a inverter in the 4wd or into the generator.
I used tapa talk to upload the photos its very easy once the app is download

I have a Sunbeam 6910 and Cafe Gene roaster along with a standard grinder (hope to update soon to a better grinder).

Found the Sunbeam to be a fairly good machine, saving up for a much higher end one in around 12 months time. The Cafe Gene is a fantastic roaster and many a fine roast has come from that machine. The Sunbeam has been in for one major overhaul, but now working well till the new machine is bought later on.

I don't think i've actually posted in any of these parts.

    Currently.

    - Gaggia Baby Dose with Silvia wand mod,
    - OG smart grinder with shims
    - Chemex
    - 2x v60s
    - Aeropress (at work setup)
    - Takahiro matt black kettle (gift from a friend in Japan)
    - Hario hand grinder.

Once the area is sorted out (and hopefully with a new machine soon enough), a photo will be in order.

Recently moved from a BES920 to a Silvia V5. Great to reclaim some bench space from the massive dual boiler.

hey guys, don't really post on here but always reading!

Here'es my setup. I upgraded from an EM6910 to the Brewtus (stock standard apart from a VST 18g basket). Albeit i'm still a rookie and learning I love this machine (so does the wife).
Coupled with a K3 touch for the main grind and a Smart grinder pro for decaf and filter.

    I'm new here

My kit is a burr grinder, a bialetti moka pot, and a French press.

i'm considering hario cold brew pot as my next investment in the lifestyle.

A colleague scoffed when I said that a French press and a plunger were the same thing. Can anyone tell me the difference? Maybe I don't actually have a French press...

Wow, this is so gorgeous, you have the perfect bench for it too, I think this machine needs to have space around it to show off the beautiful design and lines. Great photography also!

Been over ten days and no one's dared to post anything after the speedster haha

Well, in the interest of keeping this thread moving, I'll share something small yet beautiful that I've just received. Big shout out to Leon for crafting this thing of beauty. It's a handle made from Sheoak wood and adds a nice touch to my otherwise-very-humble Breville.

Yes. French Press everywhere else in the world, plunger in Australia and NZ. They are one and the same.

The idea of shelf presented itself as a simple Bunnings solution to my very serious problem of things being put away in hard to find places by the higher authority

Thank you Jono! I was fortunate enough to be able to match the bench to the machine... a rare occurrence. The previous owner had installed the white cabinets so when we put the stone on black was the obvious choice.

You are right in the 360 appeal of this beautiful machine so being able to appreciate it from all angles is sublime.

No problem with my other half, she loves it, especially it's low profile which doesn't block vision around the room or make it physically dominating..... it just dominates in a 'quietly shouting' sort of way (borrowed that from Rick @coffeemachinist )

Cheers for the photo compliments too. Shot with an Olympus OMD EM5 MKII and an Olympus Pro 40-150mm internal zoom. Had to do it justice!!

That's great that your wife likes the machine, it's so much better when you can enjoy things together.

I also use an Olympus I've just got an em-1 mk1, but I have the same lens, great at parties and weddings too, you can get great candid shots without people thinking you're in their face.

Congrats on arguably the most beautiful coffee machine there is and also doing it justice with your install and photography. Enjoy.
