Polishing a stainless steel coffee machine

    Hi guys,

Has anyone had any luck polishing their machine?

I've got an expobar minore in pretty average cosmetic shape. Fair bit of wear on the stainless steel shell.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in this area, or if anyone knows of a service (preferably in Vic) that can lend a hand.

    Cheers!

It depends what you mean by Ďaverageí condition. If itís just a bit dirty with light surface scratches and swirls it can probably be polished by hand with a good polishing cream like Autosol. If things are a bit worse than that youíll only get it shiny again with a machine polish. That involves removing all the panels obviously. The other option is to go for a brushed finish which will hide more imperfections. Not sure that would look all that good on an all stainless machine though.

Yeah as above. You could always try a section by hand. If itís not too scratched up it should come up nice.

Powdercoat fills pretty nasty scratches, if its beyond polishing

Can also recommend a product called "Liquid Reflection".
Have used it quite a bit and it does what it claims...
