What is actually different between Lelit Mara PL62S, PL62 and PL62T

    Hi,

Just looking at some options of HX machines as I have decided to invest in a machine that will last rather than to get an entry level..... What is really different between Lelit PL62S /PL62 and PL62T??

    From what I can research
    - PL62T having the external and controllable PID on the outside
    - PL62 and PL62T comes with 2 PF (double and single) and a metal tamper with wooden handle
    - PL62 and PL62T has shiny SS body throughout

Are they the only differences (i.e. cosmetic and couple of accessories) to make the price of PL62S somewhat more affordable? And the actual parts of the machine (as in inside with boilers and parts) are identical between all three models?

    Many thanks!!

The obvious difference is the PID. This gives you control over the boiler temp in the event you drink espresso without milk, you can adjust the temp for various roast to change the flavour profile. If you drink espresso with milk it probably won't be of much benefit. Speak to a sponsor they will give you the pros and cons of a PID compared to without.

A quick look shows that Jet Black espresso is at Frenchs Forrest. Ring them and see if they have them on the bench.
