    ECM Giotto question

    Hi folks,

firstly my apologies if this has been asked before.

I have been enjoying my Silvia for the last 2 years (Macap M2 Grinder) and looking to move to better machine so that I don't have the delay between brew and foaming milk (most of my coffees are latte).

I have narrowed my search down to 2 or 3 including the Giotto, Vibiemme Super and Lelit Mara 62. (happy for you to recommend others).

My question relates to the ECM Giotto as I can get one of these locally for around $1300. Assuming that I budget for a descale and service is there anything that I should look for or avoid, and are there any major differences to the newer Giotto made by Rocket.

    Thanks in advance.

There was a wiring to the pressurestat change between the premier and the plus. There was an upgraded module (brains of the unit around that time) the internal copper piping diameter was increased with the plus. It would be helpful if you knew the date of the ECM Giotto.
The half moon gauges sometimes blocked up with scale.
I have a plus, I am not sure if this is the end of the ECM or beginning of the Rocket.
