Question Technical help: What do I need to service on my DB BFC to get it back to as new cond

I was just wondering if any of the more technically inclined could help me get my machine up to as new before I head back to Aus. Reason being that I don't know if anyone still stocks parts for my BFC /TCI Giove anymore, so it's easier for me to order it from Italy and have work done here. I don't trust the technicians here though, so I'd prefer to give them a list of things to do.

Could someone walk me through what I'd need to ask for, parts replacement, etc for a full service. I want to also replace any parts before they fail as it is about 6 years old. I had the pump replaced earlier this year, and group seals changed this month, but other than that, I'm not sure what other parts need servicing.

I was hoping to drop the machine back to TC in Melbourne when we get back for a full recalibration as well, I just want to get it running in as good condition as it can be before I get it home.

Thanks for your help! I'm not much good with this aspect of things.

    G'day Tashie...

Why not contact the Oz BFC machine importer, details here...

Legend, thanks Mal! I thought the machine wasn't being imported or even made anymore, so I assumed they wouldn't be of much help. Fingers crossed!

FYI for anyone who still has this machine - parts have to be ordered in from Italy.

Bean Roasters weren't really able to tell me much other than they'd need to see my machine to tell me what needed doing

I'd say that BR are mostly being very cautious but most of the parts in BFC machines are ubiquitous in nature and can be obtained quite readily from most specialist retailers...
