Bezzera Magica steam levers not holding locking in

    Hi,

I recently purchased a Bezzera Magica and am really enjoying it, however the steam lever does not lock in place any more. If you push it up, it should stay on, and if you push it down it should spring back (you have to hold it down).

Mine did this for about 2 days. Nowm I have to hold it in place in both positions.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I imagine it will be an easy fix, but not sure how to do it.

    Thanks

Have you contacted the vendor from who you purchased it, as yet?

The cylinder may have moved off centre
Try the lock position in the 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock position to find out
Otherwise speak to the seller to have a look at it ( if possible ) or get an authority to have a local service centre to inspect

The lock position on my BZ10 can be moved 360degrees when in locked position.
I moved it so it's on to the left and turn off to the right when I finished steaming the milk.
Try a few positions to find out if it's worn or just moved around.
