Hi there. I'm interested in the Rancillio. My Gaggia Cubica is slowly dying. Will handles from a commercial Rancillio machine fit this? Are you willing to ship and any idea of cost

It takes standard e61 handles, so the commercial handles should fit. I can put it in a box if you can organise a courier. It weighs about 14Kg so you should be able to organise a quote from that. Cheers, Andrew

Thanks Andrew. Can you tell me a little about the machine. Are you the first owner? What year it is? Has it been serviced at all! I will most likely have to wait until after Christmas to move on this, that's if you've still got it. Thanks

To the best of my knowledge I'm the second owner. I bought it a few years ago from a lady that got it from Mocopan Botany in 2001. I originally bought it for work, but didn't end up using it, and it mostly sat on the shelf in my office. Same story with the grinder, although I bought that from a guy in Dural.

As far as servicing goes, I don't have any receipts, however when I bought, it I fully cleaned, flushed and descaled the machine to get it up to spec. The group seal was also replaced. And was some rust under the drip tray and that was passivated and repainted at the time.

I fired it up last weekend and it pulls a great shot, that's why I invite inspections. Cheers, Andrew
