    WTB La Mazzoco GS3

Thought I post see if there are any LMs modded or not for sale. In the process of pulling the trigger on a new AV otherwise.

So budget wise, upto 7.5k depending on age, mods etc. As indicated I have a budget for a new one overall.

But thought Santa might have hidden a few gems out there.

    In Victoria until 25th

    Thanks

According to the site posting rules an amount you're willing to pay must be included in your WTB ad.

    Hey Scollops,

I have done the "optic nerve gratification" upgrade from A GS3 to a Speedster. As such, my GS3 could be what you're after.

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to go further.

    Cheers,

    PS,

I note John A has some glass side panels available. May be to your taste.

    Cheers,

seems a few have gone from a gS3 to a speedster. I would love a speedster, but i think i'll live with the gs3 for a while yet. So many nice machines out there and the gs3 will be end game for many people

Congrats on the new machine Shaun

Off topic but was it worth it?
I have been wanting a speedster for ages but bought the GS3 because of the value for money. I keep eying them though but it's such a large price difference.

    Geday htb,

worth it? Probably not, if you judge purely on the result in the cup. It's very hard to tell much difference, though I actually haven't bothered to run them side by side. Steaming power from both is excellent - I really can't imagine anything being better.

If you regards aesthetics as important, then it's a personal choice. For mine, the Speedster makes the GS3 look a bit like a washing machine. Could be made by Samsung. The Speedster, on the other hand, is art.

It is also worth mentioning that the external pump on the Speedster is noisier than the GS3's internal pump. I think that is probably because I have, so far, just chucked it in the cupboard under the machine, without any isolation or insulation under it. I would expect the noise to improve when I get my finger out, and install some sort of sound damping underneath it, but am just guessing for now. The GS3 can also be programmed to turn on/off at your times of choice, while the Speedster can't (or, if it can, I'd love to be corrected!).

There was a really nicely pimped GS3 on the site recently, which closes the aesthetic gap, without murdering the price gap. Another option???

    Regards,
