[Adelaide] BEHMOR 1600 (Upgraded) FairCrack Donation

Hi Folks, I've been in contact with Andy and he's ok'd this.

I recently was given a Behmor from an old friends wife as he sadly passed in a freak accident (which I'm just including for info here up front in case somebody has some kind of religious or other reasons why they wouldn't want this).

So what i thought would be a nice idea is to offer it "for sale" to the highest offer and the proceeds going to FairCrack as I'm sure he would have liked this and his wife agreed. I originally used to roast for him because he didn't want to use a Bread machine but when the Behmors came along we both bought one, from his roasting notes (included) it looks like its done about 200 roasts and was only recently upgraded to the new control panel. Also included is a selection of beans that came with it (some only a small amount and ~2kg of Decaf WOW is the largest), total weight over 5kg as that's as high as my scale goes and I didn't weight them individually.
EDIT: Also included if you want is 500g of Cinnamon Spice drinking chocolate from my own stash which I no longer drink. Yes i bought several a few years ago, it's still good.

Please post your offer here and after ~a week(?) or if there are no more offers I'll end it and Andy will let me know when you've donated/paid.

Willing to post interstate at your cost and risk, as you can see from the photos taken tonight the machine works. I have the box but not the original packing foam so I'll just fill it with bubble wrap or something

    Thanks, Trav.

    Hey Trav,

This is a really nice idea!

I'm new around here, first I'd like to say hello

Could you give a rough estimation of weight and size? I'd like to participate but I'm interstate, just want to get a shipping quote.

    Thanks so much,

    Ben

    Hey Trav,

I have decided to pull the trigger and purchased a new Behmor. Good luck with the auction.

This is not an auction site.

EDIT: Barry is an idiot, this one is an auction.

Guys this is for charity, and as the OP said Andy has approved the auction style of this post.

If it wasn't allowed Java would have shut it down by now..

My apologies. I read the top of the wrong page. I'll add a $20 donation to my next order whenever this one is settled.

    Is this auction still open?

    Let me know either way...

    If so, I'll bid $220.00

    Cheers

Hi guys, sorry for not replying but I didn't get any emails/notifications that people had actually bid after the first one and I haven't been back here. So looks like it goes for $280 which I'm happy with as I was thinking ~$250 would be a fair price, congrats to Bigdaddy! If you want to make your donation and then contact me to arrange collection. Thanks everyone for participating.

    Yeah found that but...

When I go to the fair crack fund it tells me product can not be found.

I did get confused (very easily done )...And still am :0... If I go to purchase item it only goes by 1 dollar increments, up to 20 at a time...Do I hit the go button 15 times to get $300.00 up?

    Cheers.

I'll answer that he,he,he...Yes....Seems a long way around to do it but...All done....

    Cheers.

    Did you see my email?
All you have to do is add some to your basket then edit the URL to show the value.

    eg:
    Code:
    beanbay.coffeesnobs.com.au/ViewProduct.aspx/1292-faircrack-direct?SetQuantity=1
    for $87 change to:
    Code:
    beanbay.coffeesnobs.com.au/ViewProduct.aspx/1292-faircrack-direct?SetQuantity=87
Not to worry, I can see that you found a way of doing it and I'm just posting this here to show others that might find it.

Congrats on the auction Bigdaddy, that's a win-win for everyone.
