    Burundi Ntita Gishubi

Roasted some of the Burundi Ntita Gishubi yesterday for filter. 9min. 30sec. roast time. taken 40sec past start of first crack and cooled for a light roast.
Got sick of waiting so I dosed up my 18g VST with 23.5g 92C brew temp of Gishubi and pulled a tight shot into tulip cup, ran the shot for 55seconds and topped up with hot water for a long black.
After letting it cool I took my first sip and was pleasantly surprised. A zesty, bright but not sour acidity, heaps of fruit notes with a medium body and a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Looking forward to trying it in the V60!!

7 days post roast now, I did a brew on the V60, 30g to 400g water at 84c and a fine grind, brew ran for 2m30sec. In the cup it had a crisp acidity, clean and sweet, thin to medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel, subtle fruit notes and a lingering mouthfeel.
