I thought this would be a love/hate thing. I also love wood, but I just love the gold a little more. Next step - a quote on gold plated side panels.... I fear the price

I'll send a Pullman at near cost price to any snob this week. Why not spread the joy? I won't publish the price here but there are no catches, PM if interested in details.
    All have 58.5mm bases

My bling again. The gold's little loud and a bit "1980s 911 with a whale tail" but I'm enjoying it.

    Does the coffee taste better?

    Is it Solid Gold?

Do you leave it by the open kitchen window while you sleep?

ps: I thought it was going to have at least 1Kt of Diamonds in the handle

Yes. The gold imparts sideways notes whilst somehow ensuring consistent and repeatable god shots. I think that it has something to do with string theory.

Imagine how how good the taste would be with a gold boiler.....time to get the pro800 internals done, perhaps ?

By chance, has anyone tried the ONA or Mahlgut Dozer? The idea makes sense, I suggest.

I absolutely love these group handles and tamp handles made from used and recycled skateboard decks. They are made by Justin LaRose.

I've got the skate wheel tamper, it's not the most ergonomic but it looks cool and fits my VST basket well. At the time that I bought it I was skating the same deck brand that they used for the wheel.

I've got a stack of old decks too, could probably have a go at making handles and tamper handles from them like the pictures above.

I'd say it was pretty slick given I posted the Vimeo clip just one week ago...

Ordered and payed for it on the 1/10, got it today.
    $60.00 tracked/insured parcel.
    $120.00 for tamper.
    US dollars.
Mite be a bit pricey for some, but I've always said, if you can afford some thing get it, if you can't, don't.

They sent a picture of the size and weight, and picture of tamper in its postage bag ready to send.

Open the package up and inside was some roasted beans with Guatemala Huehuetenango Joya Grande written on the front. Have a try of that tomorrow.

    Yeah, I love it.

I frequently bring in bits and pieces from the US, shipping often beats times within Aust via Aust Post.

If there is one thing American companies excel at its service and shipping, Aussies have a lot to learn, one of the few exceptions here in OZ is Andy and Coffee Snobs, he certainly has his ducks in a row, always excellent service and fast shipping.

Ah right. Yeah I saw the expedited shipping option. Not cheap, but probably a fair price for that sort of service. It looks mint mate. Enjoy.

Likewise Yelta. I frequently order things from overseas. Mostly Europe, China and the US. I've never had too many issues, even when using the cheapest shipping option. That's in stark contrast to two packages that I've sent to Australia recently. NZ Post tell you 3-6 business day 'target delivery' time when you ship it. One was my Mum's birthday present that took about 15 business days from memory and ended up well late. The other was some coffee that must've taken about 3 weeks in the end. I'd all but given up on it. Things have certainly changed. 3-6 days used to be pretty accurate for sending things to the East Coast from NZ.

Uuuummm......You do realize that the pencil tampers came from Hungary, not the US right?

If only they would countersink the nut on the skateboard wheel tamper. Like Chris said I reckon it would not be great on the palm.

They were very pricey. I paid 280 Euros. Took about 6 weeks to arrive from Germany via DHL. Only used it once. Not sure what to make of it so far. Must be suffering from buyers remorse.
