Thanks for the help Talk Coffee

Just wanted to start a post to thank Chris from Talk Coffee for the many years of honest and helpful advice. Hope you can still contribute as a regular punter on these forums.

Thanks for your kind words Nick,

I'll be here on and off as a regular punter and will continue to help CS'ers with advice wherever I can.

The old moniker sits very comfortably but boy that post count hurts!

    Cheers

I echo this posts sentiment. Thanks for all the years of helpful "honest" advice Chris. Not sure your contributions as a sponsor can easily be replaced here.

Will be good to see you still around here albeit with a different tag!

Gee Chris, I thought we were family brother!

I can't read the link but I'm assuming you're no longer a forum sponsor which is a real shame.

Thankyou for helping me and giving up your valuable time recently.

Life is like a box of chocolates.......but don't mess with that shiiiit, keep drinking coffee!

Shame. I've always liked to read your views, Chris. Always based on experience and direct observation, which is great. I hope that we do get to see more in future.

I can only echo much of what has been written above....

Chris was a huge influence in my taking up this wonderful hobby and pastime, then becoming an active member of this great community. I also count Chris as a friend and after twelve years, a very good one...

Wish you every success in the future mate, which ever direction your life takes you and your loved ones. You will be sadly missed as one of the longest standing Site Sponsors, and by a huge margin, the largest contributor of coffee enjoyment to many thousands of CSers...

    All the best mate...
    Mal.

Firstly, thanks Chris for today's discussion re your decision. We had our run-ins but we found common understanding in the end.
You're a Snobs legend and there will be a collective tear amongst the community today, with many sad to see you leave as a sponsor. That includes me.
It's great that you will still be here as 2mcm.
All the best mate with BIG respect for all that you have given over the years.
    Cheers, Paul

Thanks all and thanks also to those who sent PMs (to which I appear to be unable to respond to).

Your kind words are noted and appreciated.

    Hi Chris,
I can only echo what others have already said - in spades.
You have been such a great help to me and so many others - I am very grateful for your time and support and am sorry to see you step down as a sponsor. We will of course still support your business
All the best for the future
    Dr Dave

Thanks for your exceptional input over the years I have been a member of CS Chris.

Your advice was usually on the money, as well as being honest, helpful and unbiased.

I appreciate the fact that you didn't feel the need to turn every post into an advertising/chest beating opportunity, your Talk Coffee banner will be sadly missed.

Don't worry about the post count Chris, most of us are well aware of the enormous contribution you have made, and hopefully will continue to do so.

Chris is coming to pick up some product this afternoon so I am sure we will talk more about his move over an espresso or even a beer (if its after 12)

Always forthright in his opinions, called it for what it was, a supplier, a customer, a gentleman, a friend.

    Thanks mate

    2mcm,

I believe 'newbie' accounts are restricted around here, so that's probably be why you can't PM, I believe it restricts spammers.

Anyway, as a newbie, you'd be better off sitting silently in the corner and learning from us 'old hands' for a while :P

On a serious note, you better make sure your visits are regular & often OR I will rally dozens of CS'ers to arrive daily at your showroom, by the Coachload & we will drink all your coffee. YOU can Run but you can't hide

Chris you are a legend. Your advice has always been valued and still will be. PS I will put the Fausto to good use.
