Any new espresso machines in the works?

    Hi all,

I'm curious if any of the many espresso machine manufacturers will be releasing new models in the near future? Or are they all up to date?

I'm unable to find any current information or general news sources on the subject. Not that it matters a great deal, we're already spoiled for choice...

    Cheers.

I hope no new ones come out.....my search is already making me dizzy....too much choice imo, it's like trying to pick toothpaste.

When I'm dictator, everyone will get the choice if 2 machines, s GS3 or Slayer, both will retail for $999.

$999 won't even get you the custom paint on this one.........$2500 ish.

A bit cheaper than the Slayer but there's that replacement valve for the Bialetti stove-top which supposedly lets you pump it up to 9 bar ;-)

Queue the theme music - Flight of the Valkyries! (Either Wagner's original or the WWE Daniel Bryan screaming guitar version will do).

    Wagner -

    Daniel Bryan -

    [insert Jedi hand gesture]

This IS the coffee machine you've been looking for... Valkyries -> Valexia

LFM60, I'm very glad to see John Lennon inspiring new coffee machines!

I found the plans for this laying around recently.

Hope it's not commercial in confidence. Any pros or cons?

I like all the new bells and whistles. Hoping I can sell or trade in the Linea Mini for it.

BalthazarG... I've also seen mentions here and there of a new La Marzocco GS3 MP and Valexia Duetto IV. Nice updates to those series as you've no doubt already seen by now :-)

    Indeed, Matt.

I'd love a GS3 MP, but it'd be wasted on me. I wouldn't know how to take full advantage of the conical valve and grouphead manometer. Pressure profiling...I think it's something I've read about?

The Valexias, on the other hand, are right up my alley! There's also less tackle on them for me to fiddle with and fuck up.

    +1 readeral.

Nonesense. Just open your wallet and empty the contents. And visit your bank manager/payday-lender-loan-shark. That's how you do it.

Oh the other thing. Right sorry.
Just move the Doodad across a bit. left a bit. right a bit. Left a bit. until the coffee comes out.

That got me chuckling. You're right. All in or nothing! Either make a splash, or keep out of the pool.

    What me worry, then?

(Just a bit feeble-minded when it comes to all things technical. You know how it goes...give a calculator to a retard and he'll try and turn on a TV with it.)
