Hopefully they are getting a few kgs of Ona Raspberry Candy for that figure instead of being on some sort of Lavazza machine / coffee cool-aid / Barista Bros.

Good to see the Necta Koro and Jura Impress X9's getting a good work out.

Putting it into perspective, with 5000 employees, it's less than $100 per person...

Yes. A bit of a beat up.

    Clues:

    Taxpayer funded vs. operating budget.

They're not based in Canberra, as far as I know, so I guess they might be drinking Toby's or somefink.

    :-)

Install the Swiss-designed Jura Impress X9 machine in your department today. It's so easy to use, its NBN - No Barista Needed.

It is so annoying to hear the way that our taxpayers' dollars are spent. This example is an absolute atrocity.

When you are spending OPM...What the hell!!!! Don't shop around...just spend!

    Hi all

I work at a uni. Our faculty and quite a few others have auto coffee machines installed in the staff areas. Coffee pods are supplied. That's tax payers money. I can't criticise NBN when my work does the same.

As someone said when the costs are divided over 5000 employees it does not appear as bad and if employees can get a nice (by their standards of course) coffee during the day that will make them happier then that needs to be considered. One needs to look beyond what employers are obliged by law to provide in a work place and to look at a balance of the benefits and costs of employers providing additional facilities. I know users at my place do appreciate the coffee machine.

Amazing. When's the 0.25% coffee levy coming?
