    Breville Smart Grinder shims?

    Greetings,
We have a Breville BCG800XL Smart Grinder.
Our grinder is not grinding fine enough for espresso.
I have read on this forum and elsewhere about shim kits.
So far I could not locate any kits and Breville does not offer them any more.
Does anyone know the inner and outer measurements of the shims?

I have the same problem. Did you ever find out the measurement of these shims?

I will be taking mine apart to replace the sweeper. Will measure up the shims and report back.

You could use a simple nut washer.

If you take the bottom burr off (left hand thread on the nut) you will probably find you already have a shim in there. Be careful sometimes they stick inside the lower burr.

    Cheers

They are 10mm washers. Super thin, maybe 0.2mm.
