BeanBay Green Bean Release - July 2015

BeanBay Green Bean Release - July 2015

    Available in BeanBay now:

    Ethiopia Sidamo

Ethiopia Sidamo is from Sidama, SNNPR (Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region). This is one of the few areas of Ethiopia that produce dry and wet process coffees close together, typically each region has a bias one way or the other, mostly based on water availability.

This particular one was washed, cleaned and then well processed. Bright and zingy as a light roast, full of citrus aromas and similar mouth feel, take it a bit darker and you add body, sweetness and retain some of the citrus aromatics and mute the brightness. Roast it to suit your tastes!

    Costa Rica Tarrazu Extra Fancy

Costa Rica Tarrazu Extra Fancy (SHB) is a high grown very clean and well graded micro-lot coffee. Velvet smooth mouth feel and granny smith apple acidity it makes a great single origin espresso with the body and brightness you would expect from a Central. It really shines in milk based drinks where the higher acidity cuts through the milk making the resulting coffee sweet with a long dry finish.

    PNG Mt Ambra A

PNG Mt Ambra A is grown in the western highlands of Papua New Guinea. Excellent processing, washed and well sorted to an A size grading. The first impression of the green bean is the big coffee cherry aroma. These are seeds from sweet ripe fruit and it shows. Easy to roast and works through a range of roast depths and brewing styles. In the cup it produces a mid bodied espresso with those ripe red fruits coming through. Crisp in lighter roasts, cocoa in the darker ones, whichever way you roast this coffee you should love it.

Of course there are plenty of other great coffees in BeanBay too, so you are sure to find something you love!

    ...the fine print...
(with the exception of the 1kg Maui) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays.

    Enjoy!

    For sure Mal.
Bagging the PNG Mt Ambra into cotton and the aroma of the green bean is huge, sweet and fruity... you know this a great bean with your eyes closed!
