BeanBay Green Bean Release - October 2015

BeanBay Green Bean Release - October 2015

    Available in BeanBay now:

    Burundi Musema

Burundi Musema is a well processed bean from a land-locked African country that often has a lot of trouble getting their coffees to market. Located on about the same latitude as Kilimanjaro you can see the similarities in coffee style.
This one was bright and zingy in lighter roast depths and as you lengthen the roast the mouthfeel became heavier and oozed across the palate. Great coffee.

    Brazil Yellow Bourbon Especial

Brazil Yellow Bourbon Especial. This is the Yellow Bourbon (ber bon) varietal, not to be confused with American corn based whiskey. Good sized bean, well processed. In the cup it produces a really good bodied espresso shot with woody, savoury tones and a fair level of sweetness. Well balanced and works well as a single origin for the fans of Brazil coffee style or use it as very balanced body bean as a base of a blend.

    Zimbabwe Chimanimani AA+

Zimbabwe Chimanimani AA+ is a washed and well processed bean that is graded up to AAA in size.

Easy to roast and in the cup you will find a Kenyan style espresso, crisp, and winey but a clean finish with some dominating mid-bodied toffee flavours lingering. Another excellent African coffee.

Of course there are plenty of other great coffees in BeanBay too, so you are sure to find something you love!

    ...the fine print...
(with the exception of the 1kg Maui) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays.

    Enjoy!

So I metaphorically wander over to Beanbay, enticed by words like 'Africa' ready to buy my next batch of Kenyan... and there's none left. About to rage quit only to see even more great Africa coffee, and notice there's a secret - unannounced stash of YEMEN!!!! OMGOMGOMG.
    Must have missed that one.

Nearly too late and it depends on when you read this!
(as it was just a fluke that I saw it)

    Try your luck.
If you are too late then it will roast on Wednesday per the roast dates in BeanBay.

You got lucky (just) as the roast batches of that bean hasn't hit the roaster yet (2 roasts off).

Just a heads-up to others that are reading this too...
Best contact method is [Contact Us] on the bottom of the forum, far more likely that I'll see the question in time and when it comes to roasted... order early and prior to roast day to avoid unnecessary stress and/or tears.
