    Christmas Day temperatures............

Nice and cool in Brisbane. Overcast all day with light rain.
No need for air con for a change.

    Humid. Even in Mt D.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

We were lucky this year, only managed to get to the high 20s...

Over the years though, we've had to sweat through 40+ temp's and can empathise with those suffering in this; not a lot of fun...

Pair those outrageous temps with a few champagnes, and you're nodding off before the turkey's been served!

Extreme heat is one of the pitfalls of living in Australia (those pesky First World problems). Especially if you're a chronic sweater like I am.

Been lucky in Perth so far. 31 yesterday for Christmas (not too bad, especially with a howling sea breeze), and a top of around 26/27 today. Slightly overcast and a little muggy (humidity currently 55%), but compared to the last two years, it's bliss!

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some seriously unfinished business with a heaving swarm of mince pies, rocky road, and Nanna's trifle. Tis the season for fat bastardry and flabby keisters.
