Seriously. Has any Coffeesnob done a review of the Nescafe Red Mug coffee machine?

I can't help but think buying one of these things is akin to putting instant coffee into a plunger. Still, a review might be entertaining (if that's the right word).

I'm not sure why anyone who knows anything about coffee would consider hurting themselves in such a way? It's kind of like putting your hand in a rat trap. You know it's going to hurt and all you'll get are bad memories so why bother?

There were some videos posted on here (about 6-9 months ago) of some less discerning members of the public explaining how to use this particular apparatus.

    Edit: The video is here.

I think the 3rd user comment down sums it up:

"do you find that it is more time consuming then just making coffee in the microwave? I want to buy it for Mum for mothers day, but not sure yet."

And this flash of brilliance about 6 down.

"This red mug is a scam. It is not a real coffee maker, it is just a instant coffee maker."

As though anything that involved instant coffee as an ingredient was going to give anything better than instant as an output!

To quote Barack Obama... You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.

Yeh, but in the words of Donald Trump "It's one much nicer looking and more accommodating pig"
