    forum private message errors

Hi all, I don't know how often the PM system gets used, but a small number of times I've ever tried it, I get failures. Doesn't seem to be browser dependent, and I seem to get the following:

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 2784874701 seconds.

even though it's been *months* since I've been on or have tried to send a message (until today).

Anyone else see this, or has anyone else been successful in sending lately?

I also tried replying to an older message from my inbox. Same deal.

Sounds to me like a problem with your settings, are you using a smartphone or a PC?

Known problem (mentioned in the last month in another thread) with now half a dozen accounts.

All these accounts are over 10 years old and the problem happened during one of the many forum software upgrades over the years.

Can't fix it but want to.

    sorry.

thanks Andy for confirming. Dang. Too much history to lose to have my account trashed and start again.

Yeah I mention in my original post it's not browser dependent, I even tried a brand new install of Chrome, still no go, so it's me, not browser.

I did once, but the Mrs didn't like it and told me to go outside.
