The boys there are really leading the way now, it is known only to the locals as it is tucked back in

the Industrial section in a Trendy Tricked-out Industrial building with a real airplane hanging from the celing.

They have a Cuban Bean that is magic as well as many others.

Now They have taken over the coffee Cafe La Monde on Hasting st so the tourists can enjoy them too.

I would like to second that. Great place just to hang and even do some work at. And the coffee there is fantastic

That sounds great and its on my next to visit list when up north.

The aeroplane tragic in me begs to ask what kind of plane is it?

I'll check next time I'm there for you scoota_gal. In the meantime, here's a pic for you!

Every day there are 2 origins on that rotate, the house blend and a Mexican Mountain Water Decaf. There is also a filter roasted coffee that rotates for the brew bar with a selection of Syphon, V60 or Clover for your drinking pleasure. JBM has also been roasted for a Christmas special!

Wow, that looks like a fantastic space.

The plane looks like a Kit Fox with a radial engine cowl up the front. I'm loving the whole concept of this space, from the chalk board drawings on the wall to the whole industrial theme. I'd always thought that a cafe in a hangar would have been a great concept, these guys look to have done it a bit the other way round!

Yep great place to hang out and watch people come and go while you drink a variety of great coffee.
Jacson has a lot of control systems and tools to ensure they are producing great product, a growing force on the sunny coast coffee scene.

I had a great experience here. The Barista was a lovely guy and talked me through the clover machine as he made me one, then offered the same bean as a macchiato to show me how the flavours change through the different processes. He came out to my table afterwards to talk about the coffee. Delicious coffee too, and a great vibe.

Dropped in on a whirlwind trip north to the Sunshine Coast last week. Had a great experience, with the staff all friendly and happy to chat coffee. Loved the whole concept of a great cafe in a fantastic specialty food market. Could have spent way too much money in there!

Nice touch with the small descriptor cards that are delivered with your coffee, so as you get to really know what you're drinking.

Brought my girlfriend back on a second visit, sans her 3 kids under 5 and I don't think she wanted to leave! We scammed the big couch and sat there sipping on our coffees and admiring the ambiance of the place.

Oh, and the plane was a way cool touch too. (Especially the rather large machine gun sticking out the side!) In fact, the whole aviation theme was nicely done if you're into that kind of thing.

Popped in today. It's a terrific space!

Nice Guat espresso but it's a a good thing they weren't too busy. Sadly had my young bloke with me and a chat was not a possibility.

The roast was a little too 3rd for me, but nevertheless well executed. Will try to get back and try some more of their offer...

On the other hand, Belmondos absolutely bombed. Wanted a few things from the deli, but the few staff who were in the deli were in sloooooow motion. Gave up, binned the other things I had grabbed to go with the deli food and went elsewhere.

Come and say G'day next time you're in Talk_Coffee! I was the young guy behind the machine with the glasses and dark hair! We have the Bolivia Finca Agro Takesi on tomorrow which is a fantastic bean.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the Deli. We are going through massive changes with the tills and stuff so they are still working things out. Try the beef curry. My lunchtime favourite.

How long you on the coast for Chris? If you have any time would be great to put a face to the name.

I would say that goes for many of us here in Brisbane or from the Sunshine Coast ;-)

In relation to the OP this place is a beauty! Having lived on the Sunny Coast for most of my years a place like this was certainly missing. Now I can't wait to visit the parents again just to go back to this place!

By the way Michael (mwcalder05) I didn't actually know you worked there. You were giving me some advice a while back on a temporary solution for a heat source to use on my siphon. We'll have to have a chat next time I visit :-)

Dropped in today for a Picollo and I must say it was 10/10. Strong and smooth. Such a nice trendy little place to hangout. I'll drop back in on my way out of town on Friday. Kudos guys, very impressed.

I've been buying their beans for years now. They source 'fair trade' beans from all over the world and rotate their SO's regularly.
Haven't tried Padre's but I can confirm what you get in the cup at Clandestino (Belmondo's) is fabulous. A must try in Noosa.
