!!!PRESUMED SOLD!!! - For Sale: Mazzer Kony Electronic - Black

    Mazzer Kony Electronic - Black

    Hello all,

I am listing my Kony E for sale. Full details and photos below.
Please feel free to contact me via PM if you have any questions or want to view higher res photos.

Age: Purchased new from Chris @ Talk Coffee in July 2015. (Manufactured 27/05/2015) Genuine Australian stock etc.

Condition: Mint condition. No faults, marks, scratches or modifications.

I would consider the burrs “just run-in”, with less than 40kg through it. Showing a little over 2000 on the shot counter. One could argue this is better than new ;-)

Meticulously looked after. Burr chamber cleaned out and threads lubricated at regular intervals. Photo of burrs taken at last clean - late 2016. Remaining photos taken at time of listing.

Only seen coffee beans. No stones or foreign matter has come in contact with the burrs. (I double checked every batch of beans before loading the hopper.)

Grinds tray is as new, as I only used it a few times before swapping it for a rubber tamper mat.
Comes complete with original packaging, box and unused accessories (tamper + stand).

    Price: $1750 firm.
Save over 25% on RRP, which is currently sitting around $2400.
Would suit somebody looking to buy new.

Reason for sale: I recently acquired a HG-one, which right now suits my workflow and volume better than the Kony. These days I’m only grinding for one or two cups a day, and experimenting with other manual brew methods.

The Kony-e has plenty of love here on the forums. A dream to dial in and a rock solid, reliable performer. Grind time is around 6 seconds for 18-20g depending on bean and age. It’s 63mm conical burrs are rated to 800kg. Grind retention is in my option not an issue with this grinder, a quick purge in the morning before first coffee was sufficient.

    Full specs:

Location: Tyabb, VIC (About 10min past Frankston). Happy to deliver or meet half way to Melb CBD if required.

Shipping: It’s big and heavy. The box is 660mm x 480mm x 280mm and weighs in at 20kg. I would not trust Auspost with this one. However, I can assist if an interstate buyer wants to arrange and take the risk with their own courier.

I've had the pleasure of buying a coffee machine from pcf1978 and if I didn't buy a Kony-e recently, I'd have no hesitation buying from him again. I thought I looked after my things....not so much anymore!!
