!!!SOLD!!! - Gene Cafe CBR-101
I am reluctantly selling my Gene Café.
It has done approximately 80 roasts and has performed very well indeed.
It is in near perfect condition and comes with the larger chaff collector and as per the pictures ducting for the exhaust so that it can be vented externally.
This works really well ... apart from coffee smoke sensitive neighbours - cest le vie.
I have a complete log of all roasts completed across 12 origins of coffee beans that I am more than happy to copy if so desired.
An excellent machine to learn the ropes with.
Comes with the roasting drum stand, original manual, measuring scoop and a spare external duct that you could if you wished join to the one supplied to extend your venting range.
I am asking $550.
Please pm me if you require any further information or if you think it useful for other just ask and I will respond appropriately.
Happy Roasting CS'ers .....

The Gene is a great machine! I've been using one for years. Yours looks to be in mint condition.
It might be an idea to say where you are located and if you are willing to post.
Thank you ajayro57.
I agree it is an excellent machine.
I am in Brisbane and more than happy to post.
The posts above are accurate - the Gene is a gem and if simple, consistent roasting is what you're after, Diggle's machine looks a great buy.

Thanks Tridoros but I'm not selling my Gene, Diggle is.
Thanks ajay - a very brief senior moment on my behalf now fixed and probably like you, I won't be selling my Gene any time soon.
