!!!Withdrawn!!! - Nuova Simonelli Oscar - Cracks on chassis but fully functional

I've got a Nuova Simonelli Oscar HX machine for sale. Fully functional, no leaks but the plastic upper body has cracks in various places. Not cosmetically beautiful so if you're after a talking point in the kitchen, this is not it. However, it is fully functional with no leaks. The previous owner did not like the steam function it had as it was starting to get weak so he replaced it a different steam attachment but it became too strong for my mother-in-law so she's after a different machine now. I took out the old attachment and restored the original one but will include the other steam attachment for whoever likes to tinker and modify.

I suppose I could try to source a different upper body and make it look nicer which might convince the mother-in-law to keep it but I couldn't be bothered so selling it as is. The top bit has a heavy steel plate specifically cut to cover the top which is cracked (will show it in photos).

Asking $450 neg which is real cheap for a fully functioning HX machine. Comes with 2 portafilter handles, one with a double spout, one with a single. The baskets that come with both are the same sized (19g baskets). Photos to come.

    Located in Wantirna, VIC.

Mate, nice work on the steel plate.

A mate of mine has an Oscar, and they are a real workhorse. The plastic case doesnt give a good indication of the solid parts inside.

Its also a great machine for those who want the full capability of a hx machine, but without the in your face look of some of them - this is right at home in your average kitchen.

I'm not in Victoria, and have too many machines anyway but just wanted to put in the good word for this model of machine.

I'm withdrawing this sale because my mother-in-law has changed her mind about selling this...
Mods: can you please change this post to "Withdrawn"?

    Thanks.
