!!!WITHDRAWN!!! - Rancilio Silvia & Iberital grinder

Having recently succumbed to upgraditis (called "go on spoil yourself-itis" in my house) I am selling my beloved Miss Silvia, my first espresso machine, and a fabulous entry level machine.

I have used Silvia for some years - can't be sure exactly how many - possible 4 - 5?? to make two double espressos each weekday, and maybe three to four over the weekends. This machine has been a reliable workhorse, with only one repair being done in her lifetime and that was done at The Coffee Man in Moolap. The machine has been meticulously maintained, backflushed, descaled and polished regularly. The accessories depicted in the photo all come with the machine - single and double group handle, tamp mat, remains of coffee cleaner (1/2 full), gorgeous cafelat tamper, small milk steaming jug and knock box. I will happily deliver the machine into either Geelong or Ballarat (by mutual arrangement) or you can pick up from Meredith. I will happily co-operate with any courier you wish to arrange & will package the machine up as securely as I can. I am asking $400.00. Please feel free to ask any questions.

i am also selling the Iberital Challenge grinder simultaneously. This grinder is a grind on demand conical burr grinder, and has done the work as outlined above - always with Andy's freshly roasted beans of course. I have never experienced any problems at all with the grinder. I am asking $150.00

I would prefer to sell both together and accordingly would accept $500.00 for both. This duo would be perfect for someone looking to start out with a great quality home set up.

Hi Bhodi. It would be my preferred option to sell both together, so I might give the ad another week to see if I get any takers. I will be in contact again with you then if thats ok? Cheers Diane

Hi Diane, I'm interested in your Silvia if you will separate. I'm just trying to work out courier/postage costs to me in Brisbane. Any idea of what the box dimensions and weight would be? Thanks x

The machine itself weighs in at 15 kg. The bits and pieces an extra 2.2 kg. Leaving a generous amount of room for packing etc., I would have to look for a box that is about 30 X 40 X 50. If this works for you let me know. Someone else has expressed interest in the grinder so if that comes through I'm happy to sell separately!

Not sure but I have a prior offer out on the grinder, so I'm hoping I can get it.

Hey Monica - whereabouts are you located? I'm pretty keen to sell them as a set - for my convenience to be honest - but I've been trying to do the right thing and wait for another member to get back to me with arrangements re courier. She now tells me she is bidding on an eBay item, and if that falls through she'll buy mine!! I am disadvantaging myself by being courteous so I feel I have to get ruthless. If you are interested and can payment and firm arrangements for collection in the next few hours they are yours. If you PM me your contact details maybe we can text to sort this out quickly ?

Sorry, Bhodi - I have been trying to do the right thing and kept you hanging on until Gembalina got back to me, but now that looks unlikely. As soon as I know what is happening I'll make sure you get notified asap. D.

Just an update to this listing - the grinder has been sold. Just the Rancilio Silvia left - together with all of the accessories. $400.00.

Just leave it up, peoples circumstances are changing all the time. Also the moderator should have amended the title as the grinder was sold 2 weeks ago.

The moderator will change the thread title if the OP notifies them that this is necessary.
