    Ethiopian/Sumatran aromatics?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I tried to do a KK blend of 70% Ethiopian Gambella Naturals with 30% Sumatran Blue Lintong all-in-one in my Coretto and whooops, shouldnt have roasted them together. :-[ :o

Two months later I found the valve bag in my coffee-room, opened and sniffed, and the most amazing massive floral notes flooded out. Which bean would that have been from?

I suspect the Sumatrans because they took longer to roast out of the two?

Floral is more likely to be from the gambella. If it came from the lintong, Id expect there to also be some rubber.

I have found with African beans it is best to let them sit about 14 days (just my taste)

    And the Sumatran 5 days

When I mixed them I mixed them at the above rest times

Are you going to try a shot with them for experimental reasons ;)
