    First success with a blend

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Have given blending a shot recently as I had the little bits of starter pack left over

Tried it tonight and was roasted on the 27th, so maybe a tad young

    50% guatemala, 25% ethiopia, 25% uganda

made a really nice well rounded espresso, slightly sweet with what I thought were undertones of grass and nuts, yet to try with milk but think this would probably cut through it quite nicely

Heres one that was simple as but nice result:
    50% Brazil Pulped Natural
    50% Ethiopian Jonah Lomu
both roasted to about CS 9-10
    imbibed as double ristretto latte

rich and smooth with a bit of dark chocolate and slight acidity still dancing on my tongue an hour later. Beautiful!
