Ethiopian harrar longberry / Sulawesi torajah Tana

    Harrar pulled shy of SC
    Torajah coasted into SC

    both currenly on Day 5...

Just made a great double flat white with good body and choc/berry flavours with a lingering aftertaste. Even thought I detected Jaffa in the first two sips. Should improve I wild imagine.

This improved significantly after 1 week and is still great on 2 weeks. Smooth, rich, good body and you can still taste the berries from the harrar.

    two distinctive bean.
i think it will be better if we add some american coffee bean, to make it more mellow or soft.

This would be one of my favourite blends--based on the traditional Mocca/Java blend.

My impression is that using Aceh instead of Torajah--i.e., 50 percent Harrar and 50 percent Aceh--gets a similar result to Harrar/Torajah but a little calmer--less complicated flavours, but really fantastic

Have to agree Greg I often do an MJ blend, I have just finished a 3bean blend of Peru Ceja de Selva to first snaps second crack, Sulawesi 20sec into second crack, Harrar longberry shy of second crack--was absolutely brilliant from days 7-15 :)
