    Flushing Blend

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I really like this blend, cos its so easy to make it up.
It doesnt really matter what you put in it, it always works a treat 8-)

Whatever I find in the coffee storage area that is more than 2 or 3 weeks old, goes in to it,
and its great for, well,.. flushing :)
Is a bit hard to get it to pour slow enough, but hey its only for the sink anyway ;)

Bullitt,.. whos wondering if he should see if the dog likes it?

You can surely use it for CP.

Fertilising plants is also an option.

The taste in the cup will of course reflect the age of the beans.

Actually, one of my horticulture mates told me that coffee grounds are in some potting mixes. I just dump my knocker tube over my chilli plant, lemon and mandarin trees. Theyre doing pretty good, would be better if it rained...

Apparently snails hate coffee grounds too, so sprinkle them also around your strawberry plants !

My "flushing blend" goes the other way.... the dregs of my ground coffee during the day/wekk go into a container, to be used for flushing. Well, that is, before i started giving the left-overs (never call them dregs!)to a work colleague who wont buy a grinder....

    Re: Flushing Blend

Theres this plant infront of the house and it sits on a slope so all the soil just goes down to the grass area so the accutal garden bed is only rocks so i planted a plant to see if it could live on just coffee and its doing really well! I add coffee every 1-2weeks and it only goes away when it rains :)

Grounds yes, but I doubt that CP would do them much good. Although I suppose if its really dry.... ;D ;) ;D

I have to say that rainfall isnt too bad where I am either, in the Southern Highlands. Were careful about water usage, but only because there are incredible water restrictions in an Goulburn, only 150 kms west of us.
