If you like dark chocolate or cacao taste
Did blend trial with cuban turquino lavado and kenya with emphasize in cuban, with milk on late it results like drinking a hot dark chocolate with a punch in it. Silky smooth subdued acidity. Wife loves it. On its own as double espresso it taste so sweet, sweetest blend that i ever tasted. Aroma is awesome too. The kenya really helps to upsize the medium thin body of the cuban resulting in a full body taste. Perfecting the smooth silky cuban. Both were roasted together 6 days ago. Medium dark just before the start of 2nd crack. (bit of crackles on colander for few seconds)
Roast time was 12 minute, warm start. First crack at 10:13 and down at 12;34 with some soft crackles in colander shortly after then cooled rapidly
Good one mate...
I love the Cuban Turquino too, on its own for the most part. Makes a lovely brew with lots of body, sweetness (caramel for me) and lovely soft spiciness. Can drink it all day, every day...
