Guatemalan antigua acate roast mix
It's long weekend, and it's time to do something different...
Tried blending 2 different roasts (Full city and light vienna)of Guatemalan antigua acate just now, result is actually better. It gives sweeter cup on espresso while having that strong espresso profile on the darker roast and my wife likes it better. This bean can take darker roast very well, no burnt or roast taste at all. Pleasant after taste too with a hint of orange choco.
Have been using the Acate as a blend component combined with a Panama and El Salvador, it adds great bitter/sweet cocoa/dark chocolate notes producing a great espresso or flat white.
