Cracking Colombian Blend
Just thought I'd share my last blend. I tend to blend with Brazil as a base but thought I would try some Colombian as I love them as an SO anyway 😀
180g Colombian Pitalito Supremo, 45g Ethiopian Gambella Sundried, roasted in the Behmor to CS9 on 1/2 P3D
135g Sumatra Lake Tawar, 90g Mexico el Triunfo Arabigo, roasted to CS9 on 1/2 P2C
I wrote it off at 6 days as a boring blend but now on day 9 it's bloody amazing! Nice choc richness coming through and really punches through milk based drinks.
Just goes to show that to keep tasting your beans up to day 10 where they can improve significantly. I use Colombians in my blends and find the same result. From day 7 onwards they taste great.
