After 6 days rest I tested the Volcan Galeras/Special Prep 50/50 pre-blend today. In milk it had a delicate citus acidity, nice smooth milk chocolate--a most pleasant flat white. Next up a long black in ACF tulip. Lovely rich bodied, crisp citrus acidity, chocolate and floral notes with a lingering mouthfeel. Nice in milk but excellent as a long black.
I took the roast 14C past the start of first crack and then cooled for a 13min. roast.
