    Hi CSrs,

After ongoing difficulties with my CR failing to handle adequate pressure before blowing out and my attempted fixes of what I diagnosed to be a group seal problem.
On more thorough investigation (this time) appears to be a broken plastic fitting, the one that the group handles locking lugs lock into, to hold the group handle against the group seal.
This part is terminally damaged and requires replacement.
Ill try the factory outlet in the morning but am not optomistic of an easy aquisition.

    Gday "Lindsay"...... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Can you keep image size to a maximum of 640(W)x480(H) pixels please mate? Larger images can slow down page loading considerably, especially for people with limited bandwidth connections..... :(

If you are unsure about how to easily resize your images,
this link will hopefully assist :).

    Thanks,
    Mal.

    Dear fellow Hoarders (Melb.Division),

    No joy yet.

Is mine the only CR that has given a prob in the whole of Greater Melb?
Or are these machines so reliable and valued that fellow CSrs refuse to part with them?

Looks like Im on a winner here, if I can get thisn fixed.

Im optimistic long term, but getting sick of eating grounds and drinking hot water.

    Hi CSrs,

    We possibly have closure here.
Finally got to a Breville parts agent and aquired the bit and got round to fitting and testing.
So touching wood all seems good with CR and im hoping a long saga of woe ends.
This fault was probably behind CRs faults all along.
So now CR and LR are happy again for the moment.

Cheerio and good luck to all and a special word for CR users:
Try to remain resistant to Premature Juvenile Upgraditis, an ugly and wasteful disease, which surely points to a lack of loyalty and weak personality.

    Kind Regards
    LindsayR

PS Sorry about the photo sizing Mal.
