    It has to be done.
There are a few different views about the Krups filter.
I have attached links to posts below that address this issue.

I believe Sparkys in Bowen Hills is the local repair facility for Krupps/Breville/Sunbeam, You could always ask them about the breville single-wall, Failing that, You could always try the sponsors direct?

The Krups will work, as should the Breville single wall basket.

The Krups is cheaper and it did the job - to a point. I found that when I ground fine enough to get a decent extraction that the massive cannonball holes let so many fines through that it was like drinking Turkish.

Ive heard good thins about the Breville, you just call the Breville service centre and tell em youve got one of their mid-range machines. They are more expensive tho and in the end I decided to call it a day and just upgrade before sinking more dosh into the Sunbeam.

Hmm I just checked out the Breville parts list on their site.
There are two single-wall 2-cup baskets, the first in a set with a 1-cup for $25, and another by itself for $9.
The second has tapered sides and is for a BES860. Will it fit my EM4800?

I dont know, I didnt get far enough along to purchase.

But pretty sure that its the two baskets that work. I think theres even an unboxing post somewhere on CS.

    Short answer, No.

Longer answer: the BES860 has a 53mm portafilter, EM4800 has a 51mm portafilter, So never the twain shall meet

I believe the two-basket pack is the one that fits the Sunbeam/lower end Breville models

Just grabbed a non-pressurised basket from the Breville service centre in Seven Hills, cost me $10 for the 2-cup. Its smaller than the 2-cup that comes with the sunbeam, maybe 5g less coffee, and the sides taper near the bottom. (Different from the one in the two single wall filter set). Fits very snugly into the handle though, until it wears down a little ill have to pry it out with a small screwdriver.
