    Sunbeam EM4800 vs EM3800

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Gday Im thinking of buying a cap. machine and was wanting peoples opinions on Sunbeam EM 4800 vs EM 3800. I havent been able to get many reviews on which would be best. This will be my first machine so I know that practice makes perfect. ::)

I dont think it really matters - I think they are the same inside. The "polish" of the 4800 is a little better - compare them yourself - the 4800C has a better drip tray and a nicer, solid brass group handle.

Neither of them great machines, but Ive had fun with my 4800C.

The 4800 is a little easier to drive, but has more that can break down.

To get good results out of either will require a half-decent grinder (eg EM0450/0480), fresh beans, non-pressurised filters, practice and patience, but with those ingredients youll have a pretty good combo.
