Try your local kitchen appliance repair shop.

I believe most people use the Krups baskets. If you do a search you can find the part numbers in previous threads.

As rival suggested, try contacting an appliance repair store, one that specifically services Krups machines. If they dont have them in stock they should be able to order in for you.

    Good luck

Hi, first time poster and new espresso amateur.
Got the Breville 800 and as many, I want to fit a non-pressurized basket.
I checked the Breville BES860XL and it seems to come with both type of baskets, single and dual wall.
I did some research here and there and did not found anything about fitting the unpressurized basket from the 860 on the 800.
Maybe its simply not the same size.

    Correct.

    Welcome to Coffere Snobs.
Youll need to get the hang of searching.

Heres one that mentions new unpressurised baskets for the 800:

I believe the 800 and 860 may not be compatible sizes.

One of our site sponsors, Pullman Espresso, have them.
Youll be paying a bit more for shipping to NZ but youll have it within a week.

BTW I got mine from Greg earlier in the week so hes definitely got them in stock.

Just purchased a Breville 800ES of ebay for $84 2 months old. It came with a non pressurised basket. What a difference!

Just starting on my coffee learning curve though.

    Hi Andrew,

Did you ever find your baskets? I have both the krups and a breville double basket that I cut the bottom out with a dremel too. I rarely used the krups basket because it has a tapered bottom, and I find more difficult to tamp.

I sold my Breville Ikon last week, but kept the baskets as the new owners would not know what to do with them anyway. I live in Toronto, Canada though.

I am planning on getting an Alex Duetto II...they look soo nice!

    Hi Spoke

Yeah - i did end up getting the krups basket, also modified the breville one and ended up using that as it fit the portafilter better and didnt let grinds into the cup.

I ended up getting a La Pavoni professional 3 weeks ago and have not used the breville since. Probably sell it soon.

    Thanks for posting though.

Pullman (www.coffeetamper.com.au) has plenty of stock of the Krups basket, which Ive just ordered together with a decent tamper.

Just bought the 800ES + BGC450 at the GGs Mt Gravatt VIP sale for $287.00 - could not refuse at that price!! Pulled a coffee and yes it tastes like the real thing, however can immediately see youll never get a 25 second shot with the current basket.
