Unpressurized basket for Ikon BES400 in New Zealand?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
So I got my first espresso machine the other day for $130 second hand on Trademe. My first few shots were bitter and awful but after giving it a good thorough clean and tamping much much harder (with the included tamper though, will be replacing that eventually too) its far more palatable, but I feel it could be better. Fresh beans are on the way. One of the things holding me back is probably the pressurized basket.

Ive looked around and they dont seem to be anywhere. Krups doesnt seem to ship outside of USA and I cant find a Breville spare shop anywhere. Does anyone know where I can source a suitable replacement in New Zealand?

Theres a Krups in Sydney (Homebush from memory) and you could check with Pullman Espresso; I think they have some.

Hm they do. $21.90 seems a bit pricey though for a filter basket though. I was thinking more like $10...

I bought a Sunbeam EN3600 off TradeMe recently,
and the seller never used it, so shed tossed the filter baskets.

I looked up a supplier, and it was $30 NZD for a replacement double OR single basket.
    Ridiculous.

I ended up getting a pressurized double-shot basket on freecycle for... free.

Now the seller has contacted me to say she found the baskets,
so hopefully shell send em my way
and I can experiment with removing the second-wall and drilling it out.

Kiwis sadly appear to be left behind in a lot of the festivities on here. :-(

Baskets are typically $10 (from the sponsor I use anyway), with the pressurised / double floor baskets, I got them with my sunbeam but dont use them. You can get a build up of gunk, and they cant be cleaned (seperated, they are a sealed unit). They are designed for increased back pressure to create a sort of crema. Work well for the market they are designed for, but like I said, long term, cant be cleaned and normal baskets are about $10, and come in lots of sizes from 6G short black to 22G "morning mug" :-)
