    Sunbeam Cafe Ristretto

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Hello, I am new to this forum as I have just won* a coffee machine and have never used one before.* *I am having trouble getting it to work.* I returned the original one and it was replaced with a new one, but it does not work either. Am I doing something wrong? I fill it with water & turn the power on and the "heating" light stays on for only about 10 secs.* When i press the button to make the coffee, it makes a noise but no water comes through.* Have I got another lemon or am I just being blonde?

I am not familiar with machine so cannot answer specifically.

However...have you read the manual? Most dont, but it really helps to do so.

Is water being drawn up from the reservoir? The heat may be cutting off as the machine is likely to be configured to cut out if no water is being drawn into machine as a safety feature.

Is this the same as the User Manual you got with your machine?

Theres a troubleshooting guide at the back of the manual.... :)

have you tried leaving it on for longer?

i have the same machine. the light goes off way before its hot. if you tried to start the water before its hot, nothing comes out. this very fact baffles me
