Breville BES820 2nd for $207, anything to top that?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Through a mailbox offer I can get 20% off the normal 2nds price. This means I can get a BES820 for only $207.

Has anyone seen anything brand new or refurbished that would challenge that deal for value? I am willing to pay more depending on what is out there.

Geez, they retail when new between $450 to $550. I thought I did ok getting the 800ES for $100 but that was used and on Gumtree and theres always a risk there that you might get a dud.

Apart from being programmable, having a gauge and the water spout/outlet how else is it different to the 800?

thats about it! Gauge in the centre and steam/water selector on the RHS. The 820 water tank has an LED (woot...) and maybe its a bit bigger, but I dont think theres any differences for the purpose of making espresso.

$207 seems pretty good - so long as it has warranty. I was going to sell my 2y old one for $1-200. For that price you should be able to afford a good grinder, tamper and baskets.

Through the same deal the 800es is $159, with a warranty.
