Cafetto Espresso Clean @ Home in a Gaggia Classic?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi

I'm wanting to give my Gaggia Classic a clean and want to know if I can use Cafetto Espresso Clean @ Home. I bought a bottle and noticed they recommend it for boiler based machines, only for thermoblock. As I understand it, the Gaggis has a boiler.

    Anyone know?

    Josh

    Don't use it.

    Read this instead:

You don't specify if you want to clean the group or descale the internals.

It's a case of horses for courses.

I want to do both. The reason I bought it was because it says it's a "descaler and cleaner."

I had a look at the Gaggia Classic manual, so I guess you might be ok but don't end up like this guy!
